ACT Composition Program and International Composition Competition / 2025

ACT Composition Program


All students of the Composition Program will be able to write either a chamber music work for flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano (or a composition for any of the above instruments) or a symphonic work. Compositions should not exceed the duration of ten (10’) minutes.


All chamber music and orchestral compositions will be performed and recorded at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall organization (www.tch.gr) by the Contemporary Music Ensemble of the program and the MOYSA Youth Orchestra of the TCH organization.



ACT International Composition Competition 


Participants of the program can also apply for the International Composition Competition either by submitting a chamber music work for flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano (or a composition for a minimum of two of the above instruments) or a symphonic work.

Compositions should not exceed the duration of ten (10’) minutes.


All chamber music and orchestral compositions will be performed and recorded at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall organization (www.tch.gr) by the Contemporary Music Ensemble of the program and the MOYSA Youth Orchestra of the TCH organization.



Prizes 


The first prize winner will have his/her composition published by the Panas Music / Papagrigoriou - Nakas publishing company of Greece (www.panasmusic.com ) and will receive an honorary plaque


The second prize winner will receive a laureate diploma


The third prize winner will receive a laureate diploma
